About Us

This is us. Dave is the old man. Isaac’s the obsessed kid. Together we are the founders, and ALL, of 33 Fingerboards.

This began in late 2024, when Isaac became fully fingerboard-obsessed and asked if he could buy a build-your-own kit. Instead of buying one, we decided to try making a deck from scratch. One experiment turned into dozens of prototypes, original molds, hand-drawn shapes, and a deck-making process focused on feel, performance, and accessibility. The goal was simple. Build something close to custom without the custom price, and maybe fund a really fun hobby along the way.

Then the design and branding side kicked in. After 25 years in the design world, naming and branding still felt like one of the hardest parts. We wanted something personal, meaningful, and lasting. I was 33 years old when Isaac was born. That number connects us, defines the space between us, and became the foundation of everything we are building. 33 Fingerboards felt right immediately.

Since then, we have only fallen deeper into this. Constantly refining our processes, experimenting with new ideas, and thinking about what comes next. This brand is a labor of love, built together, and shared with a community we are incredibly grateful for.
